About our coffee
What sets Caffè Milanese® apart from other coffee brands?
At Caffè Milanese®, we aim to deliver the highest quality coffee that stands as a benchmark for safety and flavor. Our coffee undergoes a triple certification process: first, when procuring only certified green coffee beans; second, upon their importation to Italy; and finally, after roasting and blending. This ensures the complete absence of harmful substances like acrylamide and ochratoxin A—carcinogenic elements linked to severe health risks. By adhering to our Know-How standards, we ensure that every cup of coffee nurtures both the body and mind, delivering an exceptional and worry-free coffee experience.
How is your coffee produced?
Our coffee is crafted through a meticulous process that highlights our unique 21–28 day controlled maturation. This allows the beans to naturally release CO₂ and CO gases, enhancing flavor and reducing digestive discomfort. The process enriches the beans with essential oils like linoleic acid, oleic acid, and stearic acid, which are rich in antioxidants, supporting cardiovascular health and digestion. Each batch is roasted using artisanal methods to ensure a full-bodied flavor and aromatic profile, reflecting our unwavering dedication to quality.

Do you offer certifications for your coffee?
Yes, every coffee bean we use undergoes a rigorous triple-certification process to guarantee its quality and safety. First, we procure only certified green coffee beans, ensuring they meet strict international standards. Next, upon importation to Italy, these beans are recertified for quality and safety. Finally, after roasting and blending, the final product undergoes a third certification to confirm the absence of harmful substances such as acrylamide and ochratoxin A before it reaches our customers. Certificates for these processes are available upon request.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We generate three times the energy required for our production through sustainable methods and proudly offer fully compostable coffee capsules. Yes, our coffee capsules are fully compatible with both Nespresso® and Lavazza Espresso Point® systems, offering you the flexibility to enjoy premium-quality coffee at home with your preferred machine.
Do you offer coffee in sustainable capsules?
Yes, we are among the pioneers in the Italian coffee market to offer 100% sustainable industrial compostable capsules. For those who care deeply about the environment, these compostable capsules are an excellent choice as they minimize environmental impact while preserving the rich aroma and taste of our coffee. We also offer traditional plastic capsules for customers who prefer this option, ensuring we cater to a variety of preferences without compromising on quality.
Are your products suitable for people with allergies?
Our coffee is free from artificial colorants, chemical additives, and common allergens like nuts or gluten. However, while we strive to maintain an allergen-free process, we recommend contacting us directly for any specific concerns to ensure complete peace of mind.
What is the shelf life of your coffee?
Our coffee retains its freshness for up to 24 months when stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. We recommend consuming the ground coffee within 4 weeks after opening for the best flavor experience.

We currently ship to Italy, countries within the European Union (EU), and the United States (USA), ensuring safe and reliable deliveries.

How long does shipping take?
Estimated delivery times are generally as follows, except in exceptional circumstances or unforeseen logistical issues:
Italy: 2-4 business days.
European Union (EU): 2-5 business days.
United States (USA): 3-8 business days.
Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, the selected courier, and external factors such as peak seasons, customs checks, or adverse weather conditions.

Caffè Milanese® cannot be held responsible for any delays in order processing or delivery of the ordered goods (Art. 1510 C.C.).
